Protection Plan for Visitors within the Exhibition Areas
This protection plan has been drafted in full compliance with the Ordinance for the procedures to fight the epidemic of COVID-19 in the particular situation (Ordinance COVID-19 particular situation) of 23 June 2021. These provisions are valid from 10 January 2022 until further notice.
Personal Protective Equipment
To access the Museum it is required for all the museum visitors above the age of 16 to show a valid Covid Certificate "2G" - vaccinated or recovered. The certificate can be exhibited printed or electronically through the app, and it will be checked along with an identity document, before purchasing the ticket. In all spaces it is mandatory for people above the age of 12 to wear protective masks. For schools, these guidelines are enforced for first grade school students.
Access to the museum is managed in compliance with social distancing rules currently in force (1.5 metres between visitors). As a rule, a maximum of 100 people (excluding security staff and other personnel) may be present in the museum’s exhibition hall at any given time.
All high-contact surfaces, handrails, door handles, lift buttons and lavatories are regularly sanitized.
Visiting the Museum
The museum’s exhibition rooms are accessed via the lift (2 people at a time if not members of the same household; 5 people at a time if members of the same household/group of people), the escalator (first and second floor exhibition rooms) or the stairs (underground floor exhibition rooms).
The museum organises guided tours for a maximum of a 25 people group (with the guide and children included). The possibility to exceed this number are given to guided tours reserved for schools and for children born from 2001. The group leader has to guarantee the tracibility of the participants, if they are below the age of 12.
In the spaces outside the exhibition halls, events may be organised for which the LAC’s protection plan and that of the catering sector apply.
