What lies ahead seems unlikely; when it becomes the past, it seems inevitable
Performance by Raffaela Boss with Walter Frosch
In collaboration with Perrrformat
On Saturday 12 October, at 5 p.m., artist Raffaela Boss (1996, Interlaken) will present a new performance. Organised by Perrrformat in collaboration with MASI Lugano, the performance will celebrate its premiere in two versions: the first in Zurich, at Turbinenplatz (09.10.2024), and the second within the setting of the cloister of the ancient convent of the Church of Santa Maria degli Angioli in Lugano.
"Enter a space where reality and fiction blur, where the familiar transforms. A stage within a public space holds echoes of the past, yet invites a new narrative. In this immersive setting, performers test the boundaries between everyday rituals and spectacle, playing with audience expectations. The line between viewer and performer dissolves. Anticipation and frustration intertwine, creating a dialogue that redefines participation"
The performance emerges from a new collaboration between Raffaela Boss and the Swiss New Wave/Post Punk band Walter Frosch
